I want to say, I owned the T-bird and it was the biggest POS, I WILL NEVER
own another Ford. It was actually my second Ford, followed only by an SHO I
had for one Day before I had to take it back. Most GTs are 14 second cars,
and the autos suck so much power you'd be lucky to find an auto equipped new
GT to run better than 14.5. If you want the timeslip I have it scanned on
my computer, email me privately and I'll be more than happy to send it to
you. As for MT, they and their Truck trend Brethren have tested 4 R/Ts, 2
15.4s, one 15.0, and one 16.0, ( the 15.0 was an RC, the other 3 were all
CCs BTW) isn't it kind of stupid to only concentrate on the worst one? I
guess that's what you do when proven wrong. Anyways, I was thinking at work
how stupid these arguments are and if I met anyone, including you I'd be
more than happy to pick up the tab for a nice breakfast or lunch. I will
admit I was wrong on the S-10, I think I was thinking about when they got
the better looking rims (think they went from 15 to 16 inchers too) and
actual lowered ZQ8 suspension?

S Tim Berry, 14.5s. Are you on crack? the ay it runs I am expecting at
least low LOW 14s, R/Ts with much less have hit the 13s. not to start
trouble, but had to say those things :) On that 5.0 we raced, he is at
least cammed with full exhaust, probably more. He was also a 5 speed.
Interesting story here, on our way down to get the headers/cat installed we
ran this Stang, 60-100 he'd pull 2 lengths. After the headers/cat we are
dead even from 60-OVER 120. I was amazed and VERY VERY happy! the Stang
driver was not hehe. Definatly VERY worthy mods and VERY worth it, probably
had a lot to do with the existing F&B billet TB, K&N cold air, and the PCM
that adjusted the AF mixtures. You put it down at any speed and you feel Gs!
Put the pedal down anywhere below 50 MPH and spin the tires. I love this
setup, totally different truck now!

Brian

let's drop it, we all love Daks (at least I think we do? :)

very few? prove it... want me to post a poll on Stangnet and get all the 13
sec stock gt's to reply? hmmmmmmmm

see, I wasn't going to say anything else, but you dissed my OTHER ride.

so basically you are saying magazine times are BS, and most vehicles run
FASTER than mag times... well, MT says 14.0 for stock get and 16.0 for the
RT. well, using your ideals about track times versus mag tims, my car should
run in the mid12's . unbelievable isn't it....
=]

any timeslips yet? none of that corrected BS either

oh yeah, you don't like "ferd's" eh? Don't one of you two drive a older 302
T-Bird????

last post.. unless you dis me again.. filters are being adjusted now
