You may decide on a QC because of family but if you're going to do Hotchkis
anyway don't say it's because of family because it's not going to be very
comfortable for them. Hotchkis stiffens it up pretty good, makes for one
helluva auto-X truck but not a very good family vehicle IMHO. If you get
the tire and handling pkg. that will be plenty good and if you want to make
it corner a little better some Tokico shocks but complete Hotchkis for a
family vehicle? Not me. Before you fork out the bucks you should drive one
that's got it for a couple days.

Subject: DML: quad R/T

Well it looks like I finally made up my mind what I am going to do. I was
originally going to buy an extended R/T. But after months (literally) of
thinking about it. (I have 2 kids) I am 95% sure I am gonna order a '02 QC
Sport 2wd with the 5.9 and 3.92 sure grip rear.
Got a couple questions though..... What does ma Mopar do (if anything) to
the 5.9 in the R/T's? (cam, heads, ?? anything special?)
After ordering this truck I am gonna go ahead and get the full Hotckis
suspension, get the chrome R/T wheels, roll pan, and I think one of the
Cervinni's hoods. So that when it comes in I am gonna completely tear the
truck apart (bed, lights, doors, etc.) and repaint it Viper Yellow. I am so
pissed about Chrysler dropping that color on the Daks I could scream! I have
been tossing around what color I wanted, but I didn't think I would be happy
with anything but yellow. Nothing like tearing apart a new truck with less
then 100 miles on it huh? hehehe. Best part about it though, I will be able
to get all of this included in one monthly payment. Working at the
dealership helps with getting the stuff at wholesale cost also. :-)

i'll be sure to make a special webpage for this project with lots of
pictures when everything is a
go.
