The passenger side? The passenger side valve cover should only have a
breather hose from the airhat to the valve cover. The other opening is the
oil filler cap. Are you sure you're not talking about the intake manifold?
There are some vacuum ports on that but that's on the driver's side. There
is a port on the passenger's side intake manifold that is not used and
should have a rubber plug in it.

Well, we went to a nice car show over the weekend and were tickled to bring
home "Best Engine"...
but now onto the bad news... the truck sat still here in the driveway for
one no more then two days and a @*#! mouse got into it and made a nest on
the valve cover on the passenger side, the prob is, there seems to be 2?
vacuum ports with caps on them?? or are they "supposed" to be hoses?? the
mouse ate them off sooooo we don't know what they were.
PLEASE HELP!!
