Yes, you would have a different effective gear ratio. When I went
from 28" to 26" drag radials, I was able to cut my et by a little over
2/10s. With the 28", I was going through the trap at about 4000 rpm,
had more hp there with my mods but no more track left. With
the 26", I was going through the trap at about 4500 rpm and had
track to use my hp.

Humidity will reduce your hp production (sometimes dramatically). I've
generally found that a head wind affects my mph more than my et.
Nevertheless, those are good times for the weight that you're pulling.
