YOUR CONFUSED! After reading this thread which I started....I'm even more
confused. Well I know for sure that the 330-180...which had previously been
stated as a valid T-Stat DOESN'T fit.......but I'd like to take care of this
tomorro. SO, I'm gonna try to find the 370-180...and just incase I'll also
look at the 300-180. As my truck is just sitting there without the upper
radiator hose connected, I will bring my stock T-Stat with me to Autozone
for comparison.

Hopefully you can help me here Bernd. My stock T-Stat has a small tapered
portion (where the spring is), this end goes into the opening......Should
the aftermarket T-Stat "look" the same as the stock one did?? I'm hoping
maybe you recall at least what it looked like.

I will attempt a resolution tomorro, if it fits, I will notify you so future
Dakers wont run into this (obviously this is my 1st T-stat change since
ownership :-))

Later, and thanks Ron and Bernd for the quick responses....of course I was
tryin to get to the store today before it closed...hence my urgency
initially.
