Re: Buzzing noise from passenger A-Pillar

I have a 2001 QC with the 4.7 and have done some serious checking into this and it boils down to the top of the
rear quarter windows on the rear doors. I have seen the inside of where the window mounts and it is a really poor
design. On mine it comes in right around where the rubber from the main window slips under the rubber seal for the
quarter window. If you peel back the rubber seal on the quarter window you will see a piece of black foam in
there. Found out this was added only a few weeks before the QC went into production due to wind noise and leaking.
I had a new door put on soon after I bought my truck due to a minor accident and found out how the door windows
are seated and what problems there are. This was already present before this and it happens on both rear doors.
It's not really that noisy but if you take a long trip and get tired of listening to music you'll start hearing it
after a few miles of quiet.
