Wow, tha TB must be good. If the SS/T was stock aside frm the lowering, they
run mid 15s to low 16s. EXCELLENT kill.

Subject: DML: v6 vs. Ram SST (mini novel)

I was on my way home a couple nights ago on the freeway and had opportunity
to "play" with a lowered Ram SST. He was going about 70 - 75 mph in the high
speed lane (the other two travel lanes were totally empty being that it was
about 2 am).

I maintained my speed of about 80 and casually passed him on the right.
Well, I guess he didn't care for it as I noticed his lights weren't getting
smaller in my side mirror. I waited until his front bumper was even with my
rear bumper and I mashed the pedal to the floor.

He must've had a good 5-7 mph "head start" on me when I stomped on it, but
it didn't do him any good. As soon as I floored my "lil 6'er", I felt the
lurch of the 3:90 gears and newly installed Flowmetrics 48mm TB and his
front bumper never made it past my rear tire.

By the time I hit my speed limiter (117 mph), the SST was about three
lengths back. I figured I proved my point and slowed back down. I expected
the SST to blow by me, but he kept a respectable distance behind me until he
took the next exit (a couple miles).

I have to give Flowmetrics a lot of credit for their billet TB. This is my
second modified v6 TB and the difference between the two of them are night
and day. I am extremely happy with the billet TB ... even though the SST
owner wasn't ;-)
