I can't believe I'm going to say this...

Have they applied the latest PCM program? It retards the timing 4 degrees
but it is a TSB for the ping problem, #3 behind checking the belly pan
gasket for a leak and the spark plug wire reroute.

Did they try the plug wire reroute TSB yet? I believe it's 18-48-98

Can you try another dealer? I feel your pain - it's pretty frustrating
when you know more about the situation than the dealer and you're handing
them the data they should have on record. Been through this already on the
ping issue myself.
