Thanks Jim. This meshes with the very, very little I know about SS. When
I first joined the DML, I mentioned swapping the muffler once it rusts out
and someone said it would take forever - maybe that person lived down south
:)

I guess that "stainless steel" exhaust stuff is more marketing material
than an assurance that the exhaust will live a really long time. Time to
start checking prices on cat-backs and figure out which one I want.
