Better check your belly pan gasket. Remove the air cleaner, open the
throttle and look down inside the intake with a flashlight and see if
there is an oily look down below. We had 2 v6 rams and both did this
and when we replaced the gasket the oil consumption stopped. it should
be clean metal looking down inside the intake. Apparently this gasket
fails on magnum intakes and causes oil to be sucked into the intake from
out of the lifter gallery.
