You are right about them coming thru the windshield. They can jump
straight up when startled like that.
A hog is by far worse to hit. I saw a car go end over end after hitting
a
hog. Evidentially the guy hit the brakes and nose dived into a 400# porker.
Made a lot of sausage after it rolled on top of the pig. Totaled the car no
