Sounds like you lucked out on finding such a young engine! Can your
'99 computer be flashed into a 360 computer? I didn't think it was
possible to do that (although I was just thinking of GenII Daks). For
my 360 I'm going with a MP 360 Ram PCM.

That's going to be VERY similar to mine! I've got the 20-604-8 cam in
my hands right now! Awaiting arival of the 1.92 R/T heads (and I went
ahead and sprung for a 5 angle valve job and bronze valve guides) and I think I'm
going to go with the Mopar 1.6 rockers, they come with guides and
pushrods for about $300

I would urger you to keep the MP headers as well. There must be a
problem somewhere else because I don't think headers would cause an
engine to run lean. On the gaskets... just use some good quality
gaskets and make sure everything is torqued evenly. I would stay away
from the aluminum collector gaskets since I've heard of a few guys on
the list melt these.
