    If you think the belly pan gasket is leaking, Look down in the throttle
body at the bottom of the intake manifold. If it's oily looking then you have
a blown gasket. A blown belly pan gasket will cause loss of power & smoking
at hi-vacuum.
    With that many miles, the timing chain may need replacing but you have to
uncork the front of the engine to find out. If you got to do that then
replace it anyway.
How old are the plug & coils wires? They may need replacing too. It may be
time to do some serious maintainance on the ol' girl.
