Shane -

Noticed from your profile you have the Black Max Tonneau. Am considering it
for my new QC. How do you like it? Fit/finish/install process...

Thanks for any insight you can provide.

Subject: DML: Decreased torque and pinging

Ever since I installed my quickd intake I cant seem to be able
to break free the tires off the line. The decrease in power is greatly
noticeable. Does anybody have any suggestions on what I might be able to do
to get this power back?
I also have noticed that there have been a lot of posts about
engine ping. I have about 28000 mi on my truck and have only run regular 89
octane gas in it and never had problems with pinging9 Knock on wood). I
have been considering putting a tankful of Super in it. I was thinking that
maybe the computer adjusts to the new octane or the way the super detonates
compared to the regular gas. So when I put regular in after a tankful of
super I might get some pinging. Does anyone know if this is a possibility?
