A couple months back, i posted an message about my door which was 1/2"
further out at the top than it used to be. It was suggested that i just
"bend" it back. That helped a little.
Since then i have come to the conclusion that the glass installer bent the
door trying to get the window glass replaced after my break-in. The window
now goes up unevenly resulting in shredded weatherstripping along the rear
glass edge. If i push the window enough to make it stay even while going
up it slows down considerably like its alot of friction.
Anyone have any suggestions? I don't see any way to get lookin good again.
I've thought of getting a whole new door shell and having it painted and
transplanted on. I'm thinking that'll run ~$500 (sound right?)
