Does anyone know the procedure for priming the oiling system on my 95 dak? I
just put in a new cam and everything i've read says to prime the oiling
system before starting it up. do I have to drop the oil pan to do this? I
tried to remve the oil pan ('cuz I dopped a lifter and a socket in there) but
was not able to remove it even with the engine mounts unbolted and the motor
jacked up. I was able to get to the socket and lifter through the front of
the pan with a telescoping magnet.
Anyhow, does anyone know how to prime the oiling system?
It is a 5.2 magnum engine.
