Some inverters put out square wave power, unlike the power companies sine
wave power. The filters in some av equipment cannot filter out the hum from
square wave inverters. You need to try to find a modified square wave
inverter so its output is not so hard to filter. A sine wave inverter may
be available but will be extremely expensive. Square wave inverters are ok
for drills, refrigerators, microwaves etc.
