At last stop before getting home I noticed a odd whinnign sound when the
ignition was on, so I turned the truck off/on and it was there for a second
adn then went awwy, so I filled er up and headed home. Got to my cousins
house, same noise, so I turned it off and help him unpack, got back in
started it up, NOTHIN...

Greg,
My Dak ('99) has done this for the last year and a half. There is a two
second bzzzzzzt (I may not be spelling it right :) ) that rises in pitch at
the end, whenever the ignition is turned on. So far no fuel or engine
problems. I think John is correct, as soon as the fuel pump gets power; it's
pressurizing the line.
