Don't forget, you're not doing anything to the timing of your engine, only
the timing of when the injectors give you a squirt.

Sounds like my problem is that the distributor is outa sync alright. I had
moved it around to get it started and I think it is too far advanced. Does
anyone know how much a scanner would cost and where I could get one? also
helpful if anyone knew how I should use it (us ditch diggers aint too
knowledgable about such things. I guess I could start by just trying to
retard the timing a little and see if it helps. I am assuming that retarding
would be turning the distributor counter clockwise, is this correct?
