The noise is coming from the IAC port on the throttle body. Yes, it's
controlled vacuum leak as well...and that's how the PCM controls idle.

That is the sound of your K&N sucking in a lot more air than ever
before. Part of the sound is because the design of your throttle body.
You probably are getting less miles per gallon because you are in the
throttle more than before. If you drive more conservative ( which is
hard to do when you make horsepower mods) you will most likely see an
increase in gas mileage.
