Yep. How's the honeycomb grille project coming along???

As far as the lower section, I got the stillen bumper cover, so I went in
with an angle grinder and took those bars from the lower valence off. I
didn't like the way the grille looked behind bars... hehe

If you open the hood adn look down the bumper area, you'll see that there
are torx bits behind the bumper. I dont' really remember what it holds, but
I got a couple washers and took out the torx screws, put a washer on the end
of it and placed the grille piece in there so where the screw holes lined up
and I marked on the sides and bottom so it'd fit in there. "Trimmed" the
piece down and off to powder coat.

To help the bottom hold better. there are 2 ways yuo can do it and I prefer
the zip tie way.
1) curve the bottom piece of your grille so where it will touch the lower
valence part, get bondo and bondo it to the valence.
2) get a drill and drill about 3 holes near the edge of the lip where the
grille is and grab a couple zip ties and zip tie it around the drill hole
and have it hold onto the grille. you can later go back and get a couple
dabs of paint on the zip tie to make it blend in better.

Option number 2 is what i'd do because my neighbor messed up his grille we
made for his car and if he had bondo'd it, he'd be screwed. He chose to zip
tie it. If you have any more questions. shooot me an e-mail.
