Putting in a v8 is quite a project in itself new engine/tranny, and thats
not to say new computer etc etc etc... maybe it adds up to be the same...

able to find any info on running turbos on the Magnums yet?

to the same weight as having a V8 in there, but I dont think it would. As
far as I can figure, the turbos and tubing are the only heavy things you are
really adding to engine, everything else would get replaced and modified. I
think if you ran the 24# injectors fuel delivery and maybe even a V8 fuel
pump would be ok (I have a Gen II, I dont know if the pumps on Gen IIIs are
different), and the fuel management might even be solved with a custom PCM
burn. I am wondering if one might also need a cam ground to better handle
intake side of things, but I am still very much in the investigative stage
of this project.

run at a lower pressure than an aftermarket, not to mention lifespan...
