An Ivy Leaguer huh?
If you can, jack up each of the front wheels and rotate them by hand to see
if you can replicate the noise. Also take them off to check out the front
rotors, CV joint, suspension, etc.

Not sure. I am not a mechanic, my brother is. He's in Connecticut, and I am
in NY. He is coming home on the 3rd of August, but I didn't want to have to
wait that long. I was hoping to find a mechanic on the listserv who could
answer that one. ;-)
