Distributor Indexing - Runs very well at +6

FYI:

Yup...that's a +6 on the Set Sync for the Distributor.

I was playing around with the distributor and sync with a buddy at the local
dealer (free usage of a DRB-III) and the safe range is from 0 - +7. Anything
above +7 and it bucks, bogs, basically doesn't run very good at all.

I'm running (very happily) at +6 and it idles much better as well.

If you set the index/sync via the VoltMeter method (posted in the
SpeedTweaks "Tips & Tricks" section), you'll need to play with the 0/+5V window
and set it just a fraction before it switched to +5 (basically at 0V bordering
on the switch point to +5V). This is approximately +4 - +6 on the sync and is
just about perfect. If you want to have it set accurately, you'll need the DRB-
III.
