Hmmm, from 2k on up, you only have the 4.7, unless you get QC or R/T.
Since you want a 4x4, looks like you have a choice. If you want the 5.9,
you gotta get the Quad, other than that, you'll end up with the 4.7,
unless you get one from '97-'99. But, I think my 4880lb QC that does a
16.4@84 in the 1/4 ain't exactly slow either....... And my best mpg
figure of 23mpg (no lie, did it on paper) recently on a Colorado trip
certifies it's worth to me. IMO, the 4.7 is the start of a powerful
future in Dodge trucks.
