Could still be an air leak. After I installed my roller rockers I knocked
off the vacuum line that runs to the ball on the firewall. I could not
notice it just by looking at it. All lines looked like they were connected.
Mine idled fine also, and had ok power just normal driving, but try to take
off hard and it had no power. Started actually physically tugging on all
vacuum lines and found the culprit. Pushed the line back on and Voila! MORE
POWER. Anyway, just a thought. Good luck
