I got a letter in the mail the other day and couldn't belive what i read..
Hyman et al vs. Daimler Chrysler, Chrysler/Plymouth
Brake-Shift Interlock Defect..
Dear Owner:
Our research indicates that you are the owner of one or more Chrysler
vehicals.
I represent vehicle owners in lawsuits against Daimler Chrysler. These
suits involve all Dodge Caravan, Plymouth Voyager, Plymouth Town & country
and dodge dakota vehicles manufactured prior to 2000. The basis of the
claims is the lack of brake-shift interlock systems, which means that in all
chrysler vehicles you can shift the vehical from "park" to " drive" or
"Reverse" w/o depressing the brake pedal.
Potentially, one of these vehicals could be placed into reverse or drive
causing damage to the vehicle and/or injuries to the person in the vicinity.
Due to this safety defect, the vehicle you own could be of less value than
other vehicles in the same class. You may be entitled to monetary damages
from Chrysler due to this safety defect.
WTF!!
1. Attourneys shall receive 45% of any gross monetary amount of the
settlement or recovery..
Sorry for the rant but, this is BS..
Hop...
I like the fact i don't have to push the break to put my dak in drive...
