I find my '01 QC clunks when I turn to the right more than the left.
I have been trying to feel whether it is in the steering or the body
and I can't tell.
Happens to infrequently so I am always unready for it until after it
happens. I am taking mine to the dealer soon to have it checked out
and will report if they find anything.
