I am getting ready to install my short throw shift kit (if it ever arrives)
and was wondering if there was any special trick to removing the shift boot
on my 1998 5spd, I am assuming that this is the first thing to remove to
allow me to get to the screws holding on the plastic base aroung the shifter.
