Get a fiberglass plow. It weighs less & is not hard on the from suspension.
If anything he may have to replace the shocks & bushings with stiffer ones.

Subject: DML: 2001 QC Plowing

My dad just recently bought a 2001 QC V8. He loves the truck but he wants
to know about plowing with it. He only plows two driveways. He isn't sure
he said the manual says not to plow, but he has the towing package and
doesn't plan to plow much. Does anyone have a plow on their 2001 or 2000?
Any suggestions, hint, tips...etc.
