Actually, they're not as remote as you might think. People think that
their key is unique but there are only so many different combinations
of grooves you can put on a key (and in a lock). And lock
manufacturers rarely use every possible combination. For example,
there are less than 100 different keys that will open almost every
Master lock. Locks are only designed to give a false sense of security
and to keep honest people honest.
