I will attempt to answer your question, although I would like verification
from other members to correct me if I am wrong. I believe the 3923's being a
colder plug allow a cooler combustion chamber temp. Less fuel burned in the
combustion process, cooler head temps, slightly richer fuel mixture
exhausted, leading to increased horsepower. Worse for emissions, but better
for performance. Lower temp generated in the combustion process being the
key factor.
