Doh, I forgot to mention all the mods
underdrive ASP crank pully (about to swap for a stock pully)
1.6 roller rockers
19# fms injectors
msd digital 6, jba headers, cat converter that mysteriously "fell off",
dynomax cat back, F&B billet tb, and something else I can't remember for
some odd reason?
Anyways, I'm going to try running it first with the FMU only and see if any
pinging occurs, If it does, I might look into purchasing that icon
controller.
Some questions for ya.
1) did you have to relocate the stock computer near the water resevoir for
the windshield?
2) did you have to dimple your fender? or was it the result of a lift kit of
somesort?
3) will shortening up the s/c to t/b pipe work with the v8 to a v6?
4) with the supplied inline fuel pump, about where did you TAP into the fuel
line? and was there any odd ball connections of some sort?
Thanks. I wanted to ask you because you've done the install on your V6, and
I can't really think of anyone else that did the install on their v6 dakota.

PS. is it feasible to run any funny gas with the supercharger also? I
remember you had a sneaky pete 75 shot?
<<Chuong,
(1) Use a V8 Throttle Body (preferably with V8 cable as well for ease of
installation)
(2) 3923 Spark Plugs
(3) A good ignition coil
(4) 180 Degree T'Stat
(5) Boost Bypass Valve (not the MAP/Boost Bypass Valve) REQUIRED for
anything at 9# or above (also helps with 6# but not really required)
(6) Headers (recommended but not required unless you plan on higher
boost levels - 9# really wakes up the V6 and they don't blow head
gaskets like the 5.2/5.9's)
(7) Get rid of the Powerdyne Filter...it only flow 339CFM and the blower
flows 850CFM @ 6#. The S&B Filters (or K&N) 6"x9" Cones fit perfectly
but you will have to build a small bracket to hold the filter steady
(this goes for the V8 folks as well...Powerdyne has been made aware of
their screw-up with the filter being way too small for the S/C...it's
with R&D right now.)
