Be warned that the electrical connectors changed between 2000 and '01.
If you want to make that swap, be prepared to do some wiring work. I
gave up on matching the connectors after considerable searching. None
of the electronics supply shops had the slightest interest in spending
their time searching through their catalogs to help me figure out what
part number to get, only to sell me a couple of bucks worth of parts.
