Speaking of Mobil 1...... I have always held their filters in high
regard (thought a little pricey). Not too long ago a friend of mine
developed an oil leak on his LT1 he could not locate. Turns out the
filter was leaking (badly) from the seam near the top (not the gasket
but the filter body itself) This had apparently been going on with the
previous mobil 1 filter too, because after he put an AC Delco on all
leakage stopped. Just wondering if anyone else has had bad experiences
with m1 filters. I don't use them just because of the price, but
besides this I've heard only good things about them.
