Will, I am right with you. I have 255,000 trouble free miles on the 3.9L -
that's some running! I do not even have 10% of that on my 4.7L. I agree it
is strong and smooth! I am hoping to get double the miles from the 4.7L. It
would be nice ;^P

Hey, Not knocking the 4.7L- as I have one and don't have many complaints,
but 27,000 miles is not a lot of miles. I'm going to have to see a lot more

I have to say of all the talk about motors, I LOVE MY 4.7 In my 2K DAKOTA. I
feel this engine is Sweet, Powerfull enough, great gas mileage, well built,
& Strong. I would also like to add that Dodge makes an Awsome Truck. I now
have 27,000 MILES TROUBLE FREE. I drive it everyday. And I will buy Dodge
again. I use to be Ford, then Chevy, then Pontiac. Now I am a Dodge Boy..
