Hey, I can feel you on that one. I went to start it the other day after some
shopping and it wouldnt do anything. It made a loud clicking and knocking sound
that seemed to be coming from the passenger area behing the glove box. I jumped
it off, it ran kinda rough but did run. I thought it was just the battery, I
left it at my friends place not thinking much of it. I went to leave later and
figured I'd just jump it off and go the parts store to get a new battery. I went
to jump it off and got it started but couldnt keep it running. My dad noticed
the breather tube was tore off and we picked up a connector. Tried it again,
still wouldnt stay running. The guy at nappa tested the battery and the alt. he
said the alt. is not up to the job, and the battery is borderline, the lowest
part of the good mark. I called dodge and they told me to bring it in. On the
way there the 'abs' and 'check engine' lights came on. The abs locked up of a
second and I almost wrecked it. The patrol car watching me didnt stop me, he
must have seen that the brake lights didnt come on and also the fact that I had
the flashers going. The service writer said they would happily look at it, do a
full diag. and would but a new battery in for me regardless. He said that it
happened just in time for me, seeing the fact that my truck has 34500 miles on
it. I do have extended warranty, and he said I was covered either way. No rental
though, my dad was there and took me home. I'll post an update when they let me
know whats going on with it. Thanks for any help.

Alex
