It sounds pretty damn good! You can ask Geoffrey (The R/T Killer) how it
sounds...

I replaced the four factory speakers with Polk reference series speakers,
and them along with the 6" tube sound really good.

Are you going to go with two tubes or one? If you listen to music with LOTs
of bass, you might want to go with the 8"... I myself like music with lots
of bass and like my 6" tube just fine... plus the fact that I drive with my
seat all the way back and it fits right behind me; I can reach the controls
on it from my seat...

If you live around the Dallas, Ft. Worth area, we could meet up and you can
listen to it.... I'll be going to the Dakota Meet in Houston coming in
October...you could meet me there also....

The EL series can't handle as much power or abuse as the RS series can...
(RS standing for Reference Series) meaning better subwoofer, more powerful
amp(if it is the powered version)....

Mine is powered, and I can add a passive 6" RS Bazooka Tube to it running
off my powered one's amp..... nice way to upgrade a little...

Size isn't everything, look at the SQL, max. volume, and distortion...

I know that some Circuit City Stores have the Bazooka demo system, where
they place a Bazooka in your car and let you hear it for
yourself....listening to them in the showroom won't tell you much, as they
work best when "corner loaded". Placing a sub in the corner of the vehicle
compartment will give you better bass than right in the middle, just like in
a room with home stereo speakers...

Good Luck!

Later,
Tom "Slick"
