Howdy, i just finished my Kenne Bell install a couple weeks ago, and now im
wondering what there is to do with it (as far as tricks and tuning tips).
It seems that some people are having trouble with the optimizer and/or PCM.
Im running a '01 4.7 Auto 4x4, and it shifts really weird, its like its
holding on too long before it shifts, and it wont shift into OD till about
40-45mph. Thats no biggy, but when im on the freeway and doin about 75, if
i ever so slightly give it more gas, it drops out of OD and wont go back in
with out a little feathering of the gas. Just seems kinda strange. Over
all i love the setup, looks good, and performs great (as far as i know,
never used a S/C before). The install was a pain in the @ss, but in the
end, i think it was all worth it. Now i just wanna get it to run at peak
performance. Oh, and how much boost do you guys think the 4.7 will handle.
Oh well, its off to find out what else i can do to the engine, im running
out of ideas.... thanks in advance.
