Just to let you know my experience with Chevy (actually a GMC Syclone, Chevy
engine Chevy S10 chassis)
Owned the 91 truck until 97, bought new put 59k miles on it. I am not going to
list every problem but the big ones were 2 trannys and 4 engines +other heat and
a/c % compressors etc, anyway total cost to drive the truck 6 years in repairs
(are you sitting down) 38,000.00. In case you did not read that right it is
THIRTY-EIGHT THOUSAND DOLLARS. Most of it covered by extended warranty i
luckily bought. That is 11,000.00 more than the sticker on the truck!!!!!!!!
My 89 Shelby Dakota owned before the GMC had 2 years and replaced 1 freeze plug
and 1 alternator. My 99 R/T now at 45k replaces 2 fog lamp switches and the Cat
converter. All at no cost to me. Nothing is perfect and everybody has
different results and I am sorry you had a bad experience but many of us had
good ones or we would not still be driving MOPARS!
