I hope they replace my tranny Monday. The syncros are singing like a choir,
and the rear seal is blown too.
1st NV3500; replaced w/26Kmi on it
2nd NV3500; hopefully replaced w/30Kmi on it

I believe Matt Barrett cut the rear seal on his NV-3500 while on the dyno.
When he took it to get it replaced under warranty, I think they replaced the

whole transmission. I don't think it was necessary, but that's the way they
decided to fix it. Must be a real bitch! Ask him about it if you want!

Anybody got any suggestions on replacing the rear oil seal on my NV-3500
transmission ?
Like, how do you correctly pull the old seal out and get the new one in
straight ?
Looks like all you have to do is take drive shaft off and there it is.

It's started leaking and slinging a little oil. Local shop quoted $150
-175 to do it..
