  If you're looking for the cool spider web effect, this might not help
you out too much, but I got a cargo net that covers the whole bed last
year at a Northern Tool outlet. Its made of bungee cord type material
like you describe, but its a square pattern, not a spider web type
pattern. I think it was maybe $5-10; you can probably buy them via
their web site at www.northerntool.com.
