Sounds like high resistance in the splice you repaired. Where/what was
the splice that you fixed??? If it was on the driver's side fender, 18"
from the fuse panel (92-96), that splice controls the fuel
pump/PCM/ignition, so a poor connection on the pump side might cause a
delay on fuel getting to your injectors.

I fixed the splice that was causing my engine to shut down, but now I
have insanely long crank times (about 4-6 seconds) before the engine
fires. Any ideas?
