changing transfer case oil

Hi all,

I want to change the gearlube in both my transfer cases in my '98 DAK 4x4.
I bought the right stuff (GL5 rated 80W90) and a hand powered pump to remove
the old stuff (I don't wanna change the seals and take off the covers).

My question is how do the plugs come out of the cases? After looking around
under there, it seems like there is a rubber plug about 1/2 way up the cover
of the differential case. Does that just pull out? I think I can get the
pump's tube in that hole and pump out the existing fluid.

Anyone done this and care to impart some advise? Thanks all!
