If it makes you feel any better, I had replaced my IAC with a
brand-spanken new one from my local dealer. (It was bad right out of
the box - "Lazy IAC".)

My AIS motor seems to be acting up. The air passage @ idle is so small
that
there is a very loud hissing going through the AIS passage. The pintle
seems
to be closed pretty far. Also, it makes a loud vibrating rattle sound
sometimes. It's a new sensor so I was wondering if there was anything
else
that would cause it to function improperly? (Ex. Bad info from other
