The 4.7 is a awsome motor, it is easy to maintain than the 360. and gets
better gas mileage. and is more high tech in design.The performance is great
I love mine..no distributor, no plug wires, aluminum heads,composite intake
manifold, I change spark plugs in 15 minutes on mine.But the 360 has more
torque, if your friend plans to haul large loads, or tow trailer. he may
want the 360.
