I'm willing to bet you've got the defroster on. That automatically engages
the A/C system (dries the air)

Hey, Bernd! You'd probably know this one. In Illinois, the nasty cold is
upon us, and sitting at a stop light once the engine warms up, my compressor
keeps cycling in and out as the heater runs. Same prob in the summer with
the a/c. At least, I guess it's the compressor. Is this abnormal, or did
it just come that way to annoy people. Kevin G.
