I replaced the one on my car but its a hack job. I just want to warn you
there is alot of pressure in the gas line. I took a trip to the emergency
room for getting gas into my ear in the spring. Becareful, that is very
painful and I was alone, drove myself to the hospital after flushing my eyes,
ears and face as much as I could in the shower. Not fun, there is alot of
pressure in a charged line. If the line is bad in one place, is it plastic,
rubber or steel? You might be able to put a piece in. If not, get some gas
line and a pipe bender and route the line the best you can or go to a good
mechanic. I have been to some mechanics where I would have done the same or
better job. If you place rubber line over steel line, make sure you double
clamp it. A single clamp will blow apart.
