hardcover to keep my lockable storage area, but I've yet to find a hardcover
that looks halfway descent and doesn't leak horribly.

My Downey SST soft cover has kept everything under it totally dry, even in
really nasty storms, moving and stationary. My floormats have been back
there for 2 months and are still completely dry.
