I didn't say stock from the spark plug factory. I said the stock gap used
by Dodge. The gaps from the spark plug factory could be anything. They may
mostly be .035 or .040 but I wouldn't put them in my truck without checking
them first. In any case, it's what the vehicle manufacturer recommends, or
in the case of modified ignitions, it's what the manufacturer of the
ignition recommends, not what the spark plug manufacturer has them set at.
So, Gen III Daks are .040 for all engines except the 2.5 which should be
.035.
